How deeply disgusting only to think to the possibility of sliding back in totalitarianism, after all those immense sacrifices historically made in support for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Especially when induced, or influenced from outside. Freedom wasn't free then, and is not free now either.

I think the most powerful thing to remember about the Declaration of Independence is every word was so important you were willing to die for them ! Life Liberty and the pursuit of happiness !

John Adam's was probably the first evidence of what pure justice is about in this country and is objectively the source of what law is supposed to be about.
